MY STORY

Hi There!

My name is Pam, I've been rooted in southern Alberta my entire life, it has been here that I have raised 4 strong independent daughters and now get to watch them raise their own children.

My whole being is based on family and helping others! I love surrounding myself with the people I love and spending time with them. I often fondly look back on my own girls growing up and know that the warm kitchen and the time spent there created the best memories! My girls and I loved to bake together whether it was to getting ready for the holidays, Valentines cookies for the classroom or bake sale at the dance studio! This is a tradition I keep up when my grandchildren come over! They always ask to bake with Grandma!

I have had many rewarding careers over the years from being a therapeutic foster parent to running a restaurant and everything in between. Each live experience has helped mold me into the person I am today.  I have always, for as far back as I can remember, wanted my own business. A business that spoke of myself and my values.  Well...I thought that would never happen when my health took an unexpected turn a few years ago when I was diagnosed with a pancreatic tumor. But with the amazing team of doctors, a couple major surgeries later and the constant love and support of my family every step of the way,  I took the leap and decided to live my dream and make it a reality.

I wanted my business to be about family, great memories and most importantly to help others, to help the kids that want to dance, the swimmer that wants to go to the finals, the organization that wants to give more to the community, the list goes on and on.  I wanted to keep it simple and keep it full of Love.

Affectionately named after what my grandmother, one of my largest influencers in my life, used to call me, my idea bloomed and took root and here we are!

Meela's Mixes was born!

I hope you enjoy everything we have to offer and can take a little bit of the love my family has and bring it into your own home!
